VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS
In order to volunteer for a PTO activity you must be a registered member. Please send in your registration form and payment. Once you receive your confirmation email, you will be able to volunteer for all committees.
Membership-Volunteer Packet
To make volunteering on-line simple, convenient and secure for the 2010-11 school year, you must have a Family Account with the PTO. Your secure Family Account will give you access to volunteer for activities and allows you to view your family information as well as view those activities for which you have already volunteered.
NEW PTO MEMBERS and CURRENT MEMBERS WHO DID NOT VOLUNTEER FOR ANYTHING IN 2009-2010 MUST CREATE A NEW PTO ACCOUNT: Click on "Create Your Account and Volunteer" below. This will bring you to the "My Account" page. In the box titled "Create New Account" enter your chosen account name, your name and phone number. Click on "Create Account". Your pin will be sent to you. After you receive your pin, see directions below for How to Volunteer.
CURRENT MEMBER OF THE PTO, BUT DO NOT KNOW PIN AND/OR ACCOUNT NAME: Click on "Create Your Account and Volunteer" below. This will bring you to the "My Account" page. Click on the person scratching his/her head. If you have forgotten your Account Name fill in the information and click on "Find Account Name". Your Account Name will come up. If you have forgotten your PIN, fill in the information and click on "Find PIN". A screen will appear asking you to choose one of the email addresses we have on file. Click on the email address you want and you will shortly get an email with your PIN. If we do not have an email address on file for you it is important for you to notify the Registrar, Deanna Martin (using the link provided) so we can enter your email address into our records. Once this is done, please follow directions below for How to Volunteer.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER: Click on "Create Your Account and Volunteer" below. This will bring you the "My Account" page. Put in Account name and PIN. Hit Login. Click on Volunteer. All programs that you can volunteer for will appear. Please check box and rank where appropriate. When finished, scroll down to bottom and click "sign up". You should receive a message immediately confirming what you have volunteered for.
**Please note: Some committees have more volunteers (ie class parents) than needed and not everyone will be selected. Therefore, please check the website at the end of September to insure that you have been picked for that committee.
